At Magenta, we have over 15 years photography experience – specialising in a number of disciplines. Our team understand that headshot photography needs to be consistent across the board, no matter the size of the business. We can ensure through thoughtful planning and careful post-production editing, that we create a suite of beautifully lit, shot and colour-graded photography. There are a variety of ways we can capture an individual or team; whether it’s a close-up portrait that’s cut off at the shoulder, or full-body wide shot with a particular background environment, we can ensure your staff are comfortable with how they are being positioned, and enjoy the experience.

If you are unsure of how you’d like the headshots to be captured, our team of experts can sit down and discuss a variety of options with you; our team will ensure to capture the essence of your business or brand through the atmosphere we build on shoot-day. We can provide a number of coloured backgrounds – if that would work best for your website, or, we are able to light for indoors and outdoors if you’d prefer to have it in a specific environment – the choice is yours! After the shoot is complete, we will need a period of time to edit these photographs – no matter the size of the business. Our team will perfect and colour-grade each headshot to create an overall consistent suite of photography that reflects the quality of your staff and your business.

How does it work?

The production of creating a suite of consistent photography can be a complex process – if you’re trying to do it alone. Here’s a breakdown of how we can work with you to create professional photography content:

Firstly, we will collaborate with yourselves to understand where the shoot should take place what the headshots are intended for. Through a discussion which can take place within our Cardiff-based studio, or via video call, we will learn to understand your business a little more and take a look at where you see these images being placed – whether it be through print or digital. We will additionally discuss how you’d like you and/or your team headshots to feel (professional, casual, humorous) as well as specifications and outputs of the headshots to ensure that they are at the best quality where they are applied.

Following on from our discussions, we begin structuring our shoot to ensure a smooth day that doesn’t disrupt your business’ working day too much. The shoot can take place wherever you’d like; whether it’s outdoors, in your work environment, or even against a coloured background. We will consider positioning of the team, the environment it’s captured in and effective lighting to create a consistent suite of headshots. We will additionally take into consideration if there is any post-production work required, ensuring the outcomes are at the highest quality for digital, print, or both. All of this helps to create a seamless set-up on the shoot-day, with a clear structure for our team to of what’s needed.

The final product will be a suite of high quality, consistent-looking photography content that reflects both the environment of your team and of your business – formatted for your specific use.
